If you're using the Xero Demo Company and can’t find the “New Invoice” option, don’t worry — there are two easy ways to create one.
Option 1: From the Business Menu
- Log in to Xero and enter the Demo Company (any region).
- From the top navigation bar, click Business.
- Select Invoices.
- In the Invoices screen, click New Invoice.
Option 2: Using the Plus (+) Button
- Look for the small “+” (plus) icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
- Click it, then select Invoice from the dropdown list.
- This takes you straight to the new invoice entry form.
Both options open the same invoice form, where you can enter your customer, date, items, and totals.
Rest assured, practising in the Demo Company is just like working in a real Xero file — perfect for your assessments.
