(For: Xero Sales, Invoices, Quotes & Inventory)
If you've encountered the message "Daily Rate Limit Exceeded" while working in Xero, especially in the Demo Company, you don’t have to worry about it. Please note that due to the recent updates with Xero, students will be unable to send invoices, quotes, statements, or credit notes via email through the Demo Company file.
Please be aware that the email restrictions apply only in the Demo Company environment. This means that you won’t be able to send invoices, quotes, statements, or credit notes via email when using the Demo Company.
However, if you are working in your actual Xero business organization (not the Demo Company), you can send these documents via email as normal.
If you’re completing a practice exercise in your course and are prompted to send an email (such as for a quote or invoice), you won’t be able to send it in the Demo Company. Instead, follow these steps:
- Open the quote you’ve created.
- Click the three dots (•••) in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Select “Mark as sent.”
This will allow you to continue with the exercise as if the document had been emailed, and it will mark the item as sent in Xero.
