# When I try to log in to Xero, it asks for an email and password. What if I don’t have this information?

If you're trying to log in to Xero and don’t have an email or password yet, it’s likely because you **haven’t created your Xero trial account**.

If you're unsure where to begin, we recommend referring to your course module in **Introduction to Xero Online**, specifically the lesson titled *Sign Up with Xero.*
