# I have completed the AAT Assessment of Competence, do I receive a certificate for this?

The AAT Assessment of Competence quiz is the second part of the AAT Qualified Bookkeeper Pathway, and students are only permitted to attempt the Assessment of Competence once they have successfully completed the Certificate in Bookkeeping.

As this is simply a quiz to assess competence, there is no certificate for the Assessment of Competence. When you have completed the Certificate in Bookkeeping and passed the Assessment of Competence, you are eligible to register for the AATQB membership.
