# How can I make sure I answer the questions correctly? (ANC)

Below are a few helpful tips that can ensure you are answering the questions correctly:

1. Read the question a couple of times and check if there is more than 1 component to the question.
2. When completing the assignment, make sure that you include the full question.
3. When writing your response, refer back to the question and make sure you have written something about each part of the question.

**Example:**

Taking into account your current living situation and any other valid factors, if you had to choose whether to purchase a puppy or an older dog at this time, which would you choose? Justify your answer. Write one paragraph.

The question is asking you:

- Which would you choose?
- What factors have brought you to that decision? Eg. An older dog may already come with basic manners.
