Overview of the grooming industry

In your first dog grooming assessment you are asked to write an overview of the grooming industry in your region, state or country.

Basically, you need to think about the nature of the grooming industry as a whole. Here are some things you could think about for your answer:

• Is it a large industry in your area? Is it growing?
• If it is growing (or not), why do you think that would be?
• What are the different types of grooming salon/groomers in your area/city? Include any of the examples you discovered when doing the set task.
